Stop Managing Your Type 2 Diabetes and Learn to Reverse It

Your conventional medicine doctor won't tell you this, but you can reverse Type 2 diabetes with diet and lifestyle.

Fun Fact: The gold standard of managing diabetes before insulin was invented in 1921 was a low carb diet. Then, with the discovery of insulin this dietary strategy was largely abandoned for the use of pharmaceuticals.

Fast forward to today, with more diabetes drugs being used than ever before we are still seeing skyrocketing rates of Diabetes. But there IS hope. Functional Medicine doctors like me are going back to the roots and succeeding in reversing Type 2 Diabetes in patients by leveraging diet, lifestyle, and mindset changes. Of the 45 people who went through our Empowerment over Diabetes program in 2023, all but one found success in losing weight, lowering their blood pressure and A1c, and getting off most diabetes-related medications. Most importantly, they are getting their life back.

To reverse Type 2 diabetes, you must say goodbye to the Standard American Diet (and even the American Diabetes Association diet), and sedentary lifestyle.

For those who do the work required during the 12-week group program, the results are astonishing. They become metabolically healthy and reverse their Type 2 diabetes.

Unfortunately, only 12% of Americans are metabolically healthy. The 2016 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey found that just 1 in 8 adults in the United States have optimal metabolic health.

"During the 12-week Empowerment Over Diabetes Program, I dropped 40 pounds, and my insulin went from 45 to 11,”  Jeremy Collum“I lost a substantial amount of weight and reduced my inflammation. More importantly, I learned how to make good nutrition and exercise a part of my life forever as a patient at Premier Integrative Health," Kim Greer
